SUMMARY:Central Park Movies on the Green - Wicked For Good
DESCRIPTION:Grab your blankets\, coolers\, your friends and neighbors! The Outdoor Movie Series kicks off in June of each summer to offer the community an outdoor experience on the South Green (29th Ave & Roslyn St). You are welcome to bring lawn chairs and blankets\, but we do ask that lawn chairs and other objects do not obstruct the view of others. Showtimes generally begin at dusk and are held on Fridays throughout the season. \nEach Movie on the South Green will feature a concessions stand to benefit a local nonprofit organization. The concessions stand will sell freshly popped popcorn\, candy\, sodas and bottled water. \nFood trucks are often parked at these events\, providing local goodies and food items.

DESCRIPTION:Cool down this summer at the Ice Cream Social\, a summer tradition in Highlands Ranch.\n\nEnjoy all-you-can-eat pre-packaged ice cream treats and snow cones for $3. Listen to live music from the Highlands Ranch Concert Band and take advantage of food for purchase from your choice of three food trucks.\n\nThe Douglas County Sheriff’s Office and South Metro Fire Rescue will be at the event with a variety of vehicle and safety demos. Local vendors will also be on hand to talk about their services and products.\n\nIce cream treats and snow cones are generously donated by Walmart and Highlands Ranch Orthodontics. Proceeds will go to the Backpack Society\, a Highlands Ranch food pantry focusing on kids with food insecurity through partnership with schools in Douglas County\, Littleton Public School District\, and Englewood School District.\n\nParking for the event will be available in the RTD parking lot and garage across Ridgeline Boulevard from the park. Green Ash Street between Ridgeline Boulevard and Burgundy Street will be closed all day\, from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. \nThere is no event parking in the library parking lot as it needs to be available for library patrons.
